Kathleen Toth has over 30 years of experience in evaluating and treating communication disorders. Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Western Michigan University. She received her Master of Arts in Speech Pathology from Wayne State University in 1982.
Kathy holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's highest credential, the Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Michigan Speech and Hearing Association.
Kathy is a developer of a regionally based program for Speech and Language Development including assessment procedures and an intensive treatment program for Verbal Apraxia and Motor Speech Disorders. She has been engaged in private practice at South Shore Speech since 2000.
Areas of specialty include language-based learning disabilities, verbal apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, tongue thrust, as well as language delay.
